Keep the Old Swan Library OpenLiverpool libraries are in danger of being outsourced to private companies and/or handed over to volunteers. Liverpool Mayor Joe Anderson claims he understands the 'worth' of libraries, yet privatisation threatens the library's role as a community resource. Additionally, a library with no funding for professional staff is one step away from closure. Libraries ARE an important community resource and they need to be publicly run and staffed properly trained library staff. Our community and our children deserve no less.848 of 1,000 SignaturesCreated by Kristyn Arrighi
